This oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried leaf. The color varies from dark orange, red to amber. The scent is a heavy sweet, earthy intoxicating scent reminiscent of the 1970s. This oil is organically grown and therefore no fertilizers and chemicals have been used during cultivation and during the post-harvest processing process. The botanical name is: Pogostemon cablin.
